Trinity’s Missions

Trinity Baptist Church has a missions mindset. We desire to make an impact for Christ in our community, our nation, and our world.

Why are missions important?

Chinese Children Our created purpose is to worship God and reflect His glory. Mission endeavors will cease at the end of time as we know it, but worship will extend throughout eternity. God’s desire is for people of all nations and tongues to worship Him. Missions only exist because there are still people who do not worship Him.

“For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things have been created by Him and for Him.”
(Colossians 1:16)

“There are many gods and many lords, yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.”
(1Corinthians 8:5-6)

“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever.”
(Romans 11:36)

God is worthy of our undivided worship, and He has compelled us to worship Him and see Him worshipped. His love and power pouring in and through our lives motivates us to proclaim His Glory and Majesty to all nations and peoples!

“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands; and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” (Revelation 7:9-10)

At Trinity we desire to be involved in pursuing God’s glory to the peoples of the world.

Chinese girl with brother “But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
(Matthew 28:16-20)
