Trinity Baptist & COVID 19 Response

It is our goal to provide the safest possible environment for our worship services. We want everyone to worship together fully focused on our wonderful God rather than worry about their safety. Below are a few guidelines for all of our attendees. Please note that the church has adopted a more extensive protocol concerning facilities, employees and ministry volunteers.

We have been compliant with all the Idaho State recommendations since our reopening in practicing self-distancing, sanitizing practices and voluntary wearing of face masks. We (your elder leadership) maintain that we as a church should adhere to the laws and guidelines from our government officials in authority (Romans 13:1-5).

  • If you are not comfortable meeting in a congregational setting please feel free to stay home until you are. No one is concerned with attendance records.
  • We are asking everyone to self-monitor for fever or symptoms of COVID-19 and refrain from entering the building if there is any concern about possible infection. If you have a chronic cough, we ask that you wear a mask during the worship service.
  • Please limit your visit to the church to the narthex (lobby), Worship area and restrooms. All other areas of the church will be closed. Please avoid gathering in the narthex. Limit socializing to the worship area and outside the building.
  • Hand sanitizer is available for your use near the entry doors and the restrooms.
  • Please respect self-distancing during your visit: avoid handshaking, hugs or any other bodily contact. You may sit with your family or your spouse, please leave a couple chairs between other parties.
  • Moscow Mayor’s order specifically states that “Every person in the city of Moscow must wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth when in any indoor or outdoor setting where the 6-foot physical distancing is not able to be maintained with non-household members. Now that face masks are mandatory we are asking each one of you wear one while attending our services and meetings when 6-foot physical distancing is not able to be maintained.
  • If you have a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that would be affected by wearing a face covering you are exempt from the mayor’s order.
  • We understand that at this time there are many diverse thoughts and responses to how we all should function together in public during this crisis. We thank you in advance for your consideration and implementation of these basic guidelines. “Come let us worship together!”
